In 2005, Keep Port Aransas Beautiful had a board meeting and a membership meeting on Feb. 7.

On Saturday, Feb. 19, a citywide garage sale was held with the City of Port Aransas Parks and Recreation Department. More than 300 maps were distributed to sites. Also on that day KPAB held the Winter Texan Cleanup. More than 1000 pounds of garbage was picked up from wetland areas by 13 volunteers.

April 2, 2005 the Free Dump Day was held with more than 50 vehicles dumping trash at no cost. Special thanks to the city; city workers-Marty, Doug and Frank; BFI, Event Coordinator Don Anz and all the KPAB volunteers; and everyone in town who took advantage of this time to clean up.
